The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation Granted 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status
Kingston, New York – The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation is excited to announce it is now officially a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions donated to The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation are fully tax-deductible retroactive as of June 14, 2019. The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to serve students that are seeking a degree in synthesizers, electronic music and electronic engineering.
Dina Pearlman, the Foundation’s President, Executive Director and founder states: “Obtaining 501(c)(3) status is a major milestone for The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation. This opens many doors for us to expand fundraising activities and fully realize our goals as a charitable organization.”
The foundation intends to provide scholarships to institutions that have instruction in both electronic music and electronic engineering. We will facilitate sponsorships to Artist-in-Residences as well as grants and residencies for musicians and engineers. We will also collect artifacts designed by or inspired by Alan R. Pearlman and ARP Instruments, both new and old.
